Grand Lodge Hotel Wausau - Rothschild, Rothschild

We had an amazing time at the family waterpark hotel. The check-in and check-out processes were quick and stress-free, and the staff was so helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, making it comfortable for our family of six. The waterpark was also well-kept and offered plenty of fun activities for everyone. However, our experience at breakfast could have been better, as some items were running low and looked outdated.

The hotel has some redeeming qualities, especially with its clean rooms and decent amenities, but it suffers from poor management and issues with noise. Families might find some enjoyment in the waterpark area, but it’s important to manage expectations regarding the overall quality. The breakfast leaves much to be desired, and the staff availability could use significant improvement.

We had a great family trip! The hotel was perfect for our kids, especially with the fun waterpark and arcade. The rooms were nice, but the food options were disappointing, particularly the waterpark pizza. Overall, we had a blast and will likely return for more family fun.
